Dear Rios Families,

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all students, parents, teachers, and staff as I step into the role of principal at Rios Elementary School. It is an honor to join such a vibrant and dedicated community, and I am excited to embark on this journey with each of you. With 30 years of experience, 21 as a school principal in CVUSD, I am committed to using my knowledge and passion for education to benefit the Rios Elementary community. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse student populations, dedicated educators, and supportive families. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of a strong school community and the transformative impact of a quality education. I am eager to use this experience to foster a nurturing and challenging learning environment where every student can thrive.

At Rios Elementary, we are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. Our talented team of educators is committed to implementing innovative teaching strategies and creating an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. We believe in the potential of every student and strive to cultivate a love for learning that will serve them well beyond their elementary school years.

Children learn from all adults. You, as parents, are your child's foremost role model and teacher. In addition to providing your child with a nurturing environment, you help provide the interest, motivation, and support that are critical to learning. We welcome and encourage you to take an active role in your child's educational process by becoming involved in our school community.
